As a partner in our tax practice and industry leader of our TLC Services Group, Alan focuses on providing tax consulting and compliance services to growing dynamic companies in a broad range of sectors including technology, life sciences, real estate, manufacturing and clean energy.
Alan has over 26 years of experience assisting clients in identifying, evaluating and implementing tax planning strategies that result in significant tax and cash flow savings. He works with other members of the blum team to address client tax issues and implement innovative and sustainable tax savings strategies. Areas of technical expertise include tax accounting methods, inventory methods, ASC 740, state and local taxation, tangible property regulations and corporate tax planning.
Dina Ouelette, CPA
As a director in blum’s Tax Department, Dina has over 21 years of experience providing services to a wide range of privately held businesses and individuals.
Dina is a tax consultant to a variety of our firm’s clients with a focus on automobile dealerships and individual taxation. Dina specializes in federal and state tax returns for individuals, S corporations and privately held businesses. She also has experience with tax planning and research.
Prior to joining blum, Dina was a tax manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers in the business tax compliance area.
John Griffin, J.D., LL.M
As a director in blum’s Tax Department, John has over 15 years of experience providing business tax services to a wide range of corporate and partnership clients. John advises clients on tax accounting methods, state and local tax matters and income tax provisions.
Prior to joining blum in 2018, John worked at Ernst & Young and KPMG where he reviewed and prepared corporate and partnership tax returns and provided tax advisory services. He also assisted companies in preparing their annual and quarterly tax provisions.
